Fundraising at its finest

Generating more than $2 million over the past two decades, Niagara College’s premiere fundraising event will be held today, April 13, at 6 p.m. at the Fallsview Casino Resort’s Grand Hall.

More than 600 business, community and educational leaders will attend Niagara College Foundation’s 23rd Annual Seafood Gala.

The proceeds from this year’s event will fund equipment, learning resources, scholarships and bursaries to support student learning and success.

The gala features a seafood (and more) buffet, and it will hold live and silent auction packages valued at $66,525.

The Doubts, Juliette Dunn and Peter Shea, Maneli Jamal and Frank Krahn will perform for  entertainment.

Lead sponsors for the event include Fallsview Casino Resort, Sun Media Niagara Newspaper Group, TV Cogeco and TD.
